OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY

Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $449 million at weekly
reporting large commercial banks during the week ended January 13.
The principal net decreases were $158 million in loans to manufacturers of
food, liquor, and tobacco products, $85 million to manufacturers of petroleum refining,
$84 million in bankers1 acceptances, and $214 million to all M other M loans.
