COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $867 million at weekly
reporting large commercial banks during the week ended January 27.
The principal net decreases were $127 million in loans to manufacturers of
machinery, $102 million to "other11 public utilities, $118 to all "other" loans, and
$114 in bankers' acceptances.
