COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $369 million at weekly
reporting large commercial banks during the week ended February 16.
The principal net increases were
$83 million in loans to manufacturers of
transportation equipment, $101 million to retail trade, and $76 million to unclassified borrowers.
