COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and Industrial loans decreased a net of $180
million at Weekly Reporting Large Commercial banks during the Week
ending January 25.
The principal net decreases were $691 million in loans
for bankers acceptance and $130 million in loans for public
utilities.
The largest offsetting increase was $165 million in
loans for wholesale trade.
