A N D I N D U S T R I A L L O A N S O U T S T A N D I N G BY

INDUSTRY

Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $727
million at weekly reporting large commercial banks during the week
ending July 28, 1976.
The principal net decreases were $180 million in loans for
bankers acceptances, $95 million in loans for other public utilities
and $80 million in loans for other retail trade.
The largest offsetting increase was $49 million in loans
for other wholesale trade.
