INDUSTRIAL

LOANS OUTSTANDING BY

INDUSTRY

Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $150 million
at weekly reporting large commercial banks during the week ending
August 24, 1977.
The principal net increases were $109 million in loans for
Retail Trade and $74 million in loans for Bankers acceptances.
The largest offsetting decrease was $132 million in loans
f° r Transportation Equipment.
