RESERVE FEDERAL statistical release For immediate release August 2, 1967 H. 12 COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY Commercial and industrial loans decreased in seven districts *nd a net of $183 million at weekly reporting large commercial banks during the veek ended July 26. The principal net decreases were $50 million in loans to MUEufacburers of "other" fabricated metal products, $37 million to the mining industry, which includes producers of petroleum and natural gas, and $100 million to unclassified borrowers. The larger offsetting net increases were $36 million in loans to commodity dealers, and $35 million to retail trade.
