C O M M E R C I A L AND INDUSTRIAL LOANS O U T S T A N D I N G BY I N D U S T R Y

H.12

Commercial and industrial loans decreased a net of $233 million
at weekly reporting large commercial banks during the week ending
August 10, 1977.
The principal net decreases were $128 million in unclassified
loans, $106 million in loans for other public utilities and $100
million in loans for commodity dealers.
The largest offsetting increase was $89 million in all other
loans.
