COMMERCIAL AND TlrtlUSTRlAL LOANS OUTSTANDING BY INDUSTRY
Commercial and industrial loans increased a net of $119 million at
weekly reporting large commercial banks during the week ended April 14.
The principal net increases were $65 million in loans to retail
trade, $255 million to unclassified borrowers.
The larger offsetting net decreases were $62 million in bankers'
acceptances, and $77 million to foreign commercial and industrial loans.
