All types of c r e d i t increased during the month with personal loans showing the l a r g e s t increase as i n other recent months. Increases i n instalment c r e d i t holdings were reported . i n a l l Federal Reserve D i s t r i c t s except St. Louis which showed no change. Extensions of c r e d i t during July were $35 million above the volume of a month e a r l i e r , but continued below a year e a r l i e r .
