CONSUMER -INSTALMENT { C ^ D I ^ AT COMMERCIAL BANKS FEBRUARY 1966 Consumer instalment credit held by commercial banks at the end of February amounted to $28,162 million, .representing an increase of $118 million from January and $3,916 million from February last year. Automobile and other . consumer goods paper and personal loans showed increases from January, but home repair and modernization loans were off a.little.
