RETAIL/FURNITURE REPORT FOR JANUARY 1963

Instalment and charge accounts receivable declined 2 per cent
~an3~10 per cent respectively at reporting furniture stores in January
1963. Total accounts receivable increased 2 per cent from a year ago.
Total sales declined seasonally in January and were slightly
below the January 1962 volume.
