RETAIL /FURNITURE STORE REPORT FOR NOVEMBER 19bl

Accounts r e c e i v a b l e a t reporting f u r n i t u r e s t o r e s
increased 3 pe.r cent i n November and were unchanged from a
year e a r l i e r . Collections on instalment accounts i n November
amounted t o 12 p e r cent of outstandings a t the beginning of
the month.
Sales a t r e p o r t i n g s t o r e s rose i n November, but f o r
the period January-November 1961, were below a year e a r l i e r .
