In our circular letter of April 29, 1947, you were notified th a t the
Federal Reserve Bank of A tlanta would close on Saturdays beginning
M ay 3, 1947, except Saturdays occurring in weeks when another holiday
was observed.
The Federal Reserve Bank of A tlanta has now informed us that, under
the provisions of Act 130, approved February 11, 1949, by the General
Assembly of Georgia a t its 1949 session, amending Section 14-1809.1 of the
Georgia Code, it will be closed on all Saturdays, including Saturdays
occurring in weeks when other holidays are observed.
