FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF ST. LOUIS Memorandum for the Press For immediate reloasa. May 11, 1944. At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis held today, Y/illiam E. Peterson was elocted a Vice President, and Laurence K« Arthur, an Assistant Vice President. Peterson has been in the employ of the bank since 1918, and has been its Chief Examiner since 1934, Arthur became affiliated wit h the institution when it opened in 1014, and ha3 been serving as a department manager.
