FOR CASH OFFERING OF 23^ PERCENT TREASURY BONDS OF 1958

To All Banking Institutions, and Others Concerned,
in the Second Federal Reserve D istrict:

Secretary of the Treasury Snyder announced last night that the
subscription books for the current offering of 2% percent Treasury
Bonds of 1958 closed at the close of business Monday, June 16.
Subscriptions placed in the mail before 12 o ’clock midnight Monday,
June 16, will be considered as having been entered before the close of
the subscription books.
Announcement of the amount of subscriptions and the basis of
allotment will probably be made on Thursday, June 19.
