May 11, 2011 MEDIA ADVISORY New York Fed President William Dudley to Visit the Hudson Valley Trip to strengthen relationships with local community and business leaders, and to discuss regional economic conditions William C. Dudley, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, will visit the Hudson Valley region beginning Thursday, May 19 to discuss the state of the regional economy and to strengthen ties with citizens of the Second Federal Reserve District (which includes New York State, northern New Jersey, southwestern Connecticut, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands). While in the region, President Dudley will address some of the economic challenges facing the nation and the Hudson Valley, with visits to New Paltz, Kingston, Middletown and Fishkill. President Dudley will also meet with local community and business leaders to hear about the most pressing issues facing the local economy from their perspective.
