INFORMATION FOR COLLATERAL AGENTS OF THE SECOND CLASS
FOR SALES OF WAR SAVINGS CERTIFICATE STAMPS AND
U.S. THRIFT STAMPS
Collateral Agents of the Second Class already
qualified to a sufficient amount pursuant to department
circulars Nos . 95 and 101 for the sale of War Savings
Certificates and War Savings Certificate Stamps, series
of 1918, will not be required to file a new formal
application as agents, nor resolutions and pledge
agreements and they will by the receipt or sale of
lar Savings Certificates or War Savings Certificate
Stamps, series of 1919 , or by the receipt or sale of
U, S. Thrift Stamps after December 31, 1918, be conclusively presumed to have assented to all the terms
and provisions hereof.
Collateral security pledged or to be pledged
under any of the circulars above mentioned will be conclusively deemed to be p1edged as collateral security
thereunder and hereunder.

Collateral Agents of the Second Cl ass will
remit in the usual manner for War Savings Certificate
Stamps sola in December (War Savings Stamps at $4.23
each - Thrift Stamps at 25 cents each). Return to us
all War Savings Certificate Stamps and ~ar Savings
Certificates remaining on hand after close of business
December 31 , 1918. The returned War Savings Certificate Stamps of the 1918 series may be exchanged for
War Savings Certificate Stamps of the 1919 series or
credited to your consignment account, at your option.
U. S. Thrift Cards and Thrift Stamps of the
series of 1918 will be used and accepted in payment of
War Savings !Jertificate Stamps of the series of 1919 in
the same manner prevailing in 19L8.
