How Do Incomes in the Largest Cities Compare?

Simply looking at median incomes across cities doesn’t provide a full picture of typical household well-being.
In this video, taken from a recent St. Louis Fed Dialogue with the Fed presentation, Regional Economist
Charles Gascon adjusted the median incomes of the 50 largest metropolitan statistical areas for cost of living.
St. Louis, due to its relatively low cost of living, fares pretty well.
