FEDERAL- R E S E R V E OF BA N K DALLAS Dallas, Texas, February 18, 1925. ANNOUNCEM ENT To the Member Bank Addressed: Please be advised that this bank and its branches at El Paso and Houston, Texas, will observe Monday, March 2, Texas Independence Day, as a holiday, and will not be open for business on that day. In this connection please refer to our announcement of September 11, 1924, relating to the observance of holidays by this bank, in which we advised that the Federal Reserve Board had ruled that no Federal Reserve Bank or Branch should close for business except on Sundays and such holidays as are generally observed throughout the United States and have come, by common custom and usage, to be regarded as national holidays. Acting under authority of the Federal Reserve Board, our letter of September 11 referred to is revoked and hereafter, unless otherwise advised, this bank and its El Paso and Houston Branches, will observe all legal holidays in the State of Texas. Yours very truly, Governor. This publication was digitized and made available by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' Historical Library (FedHistory@dal.frb.org)
