F ed er a l R e se r v e Ba n k DALLAS, TEXAS of D allas 75222 Circular No. 67-5 January 5,1967 SURVEY OF TIME AND SAYINGS DEPOSITS To the Chief Executive Officer, Each Member Bank in the Eleventh Federal Reserve D istrict: In carrying out its responsibilities in administering regulation Q, the Federal Reserve System is instituting a quarterly report to collect data on the terms and amounts of time and savings deposits outstanding by types of deposits. A sample copy of the form to be used is enclosed for your information. Except for minor changes, the form is similar to that used in the 1966 survey. Forms will be forwarded to your bank about 1 week prior to the date of each quarterly survey. The first report will cover time and savings deposits in your bank as of January 31, 1967. Each quarterly report should be completed and returned to us within 1 week after the survey date. Would you please let us know the name of the individual in your bank who will be responsible for the report. A self-addressed card is enclosed for this purpose. In the event there are any questions regarding this report, you or your representative may contact Mr. Jerry Bender, Administrative Assistant, of our Research Department in Dallas.
