FEDERAL OF Circular No. 11 RESERVE BANK Series of 1922 DALLAS July 10, 1922 SE R V IC E CHARGE ON N O N -C A S H C O L L E C T IO N S TO THE MEMBER BANK ADDRESSED: Effective July 15, 1922, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and its branches will make a service charge of 15 cents on each returned, unpaid, non-cash collection item other than those which have been protested for non-payment. Charges of this nature have not been made heretofore by this bank, but the practice will be followed hereafter by all Federal Reserve Banks generally, in order to protect them and their member banks from the burden and expense of handling what are generally known as “ dunning” drafts. Very truly yours, Governor. This publication was digitized and made available by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' Historical Library (FedHistory@dal.frb.org)
