A G E N T O F T H E U N IT E D ST A T E S Dallas, Texas, October 7,1964 SERIES E BOND SALES REPORTS To All Savings Bond Issuing Agents in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: The Treasury Department has modified its internal pro cedures for handling issuing agents’ sales reports, Form PD 3252, with respect to the recording of issue dates. Under the revised procedure the Treasury will obtain infor mation as to the issue dates of bonds sold exclusively from the accompanying registration stubs, and has requested that the issue dates be omitted from the report forms. Accordingly, when pre paring future sales reports, Form PD 3252, please do not fill in the block at the top of the form marked “Issue Date (Month and Year).” This block should also be left blank when preparing Forms PD 3252 for spoiled bond transmittals.
