REVISED SUPPLEMENT A TO BULLETIN 1

TO ALL MEMBER BANKS
AND OTHERS CONCERNED IN THE
ELEVENTH FEDERAL RESERVE D ISTR IC T:

The Texas Legislature has amended the list of banking holidays
set out in the Texas Banking Code of 1943 to change the observance of
Veterans' Day from the fourth Monday in October to November 11.
A c c o rd in g ly , the Bank has amended the listing of nonbanking
days observed by it to reflect this change.
You should remove Supplement A to Bulletin 1, "Banking and
Nonbanking D a ys," dated Ju ly 27, 1971, presently in you r b in d e r, and
replace it w ith the amended Supplement A , p rinted on the reverse of this
c irc u la r.

A-1.00 Nonbanking days

December 25 (Christmas Day)

Nonbanking days for all offices of this Bank are:
Saturday
Sunday

Any other day which this Bank elects to treat
as a nonbanking day. (In such a case, advance
notification will be sent.)
Should January 1, July 4, or December 25 occur
on a Saturday, this Bank will be closed the pre­
ceding Friday. Should they occur on a Sunday,
this Bank will be closed the following Monday.

Third Monday in February (Presidents’ Day)
Last Monday in May (Memorial Day)

July 4 (Independence Day)

All days not listed as nonbanking days in A-1.00
