DETAILS
Appendix B to Bulletin 11 has been revised to reflect the new
Commercial Automated Clearing House Fee Schedule effective January 1, 1990.
This new schedule will replace the Appendix B dated October 1989 located in
Volume I of your Regulations Binders.
ATTACHMENTS
The revised Appendix B is attached.

Return Items and NOCs
Deposited electronically in files with or without other items, returns and NOCs
are assessed the same basic fees and surcharges as are applied to debits and
credits originated.
Deposited via CATIE or terminal access to the history database, returns are
assessed a flat per-item fee of $1.25. No other basic fees or surcharges
apply.
Deposited in paper form, each return and NOC is assessed a $4.00 handling fee
in addition to all fees that would apply if the item were deposited
electronically.
In addition, the Treasury Department has asked the Federal
Reserve to charge depositors of paper government NOCs a $1.00 per item fee to
partially defray the cost of and provide DIs an incentive for converting these
items to electronic form.
