and Branches. Depositaries and Financial Agents of the
Government. Officers. Agents, or employees of the United
States engaged in collecting, depositing, or transmitting
public moneys, and other concerned:
Treasury Department Circular No. 176 (Revised), dated
December 21, 1945, as amended, is hereby further amended by
revising Section 20, Collateral Security for Deposits, as
follows:
1.

Revise subparagraph (i) to read as follows:

"(i) Participation Certificates issued by the
Federal National Mortgage Association, at face value."
2.

Add subparagraph (j) as follows:

" (j) Certificates of Interest issued by the Commodity
Credit Corporation, at face value."
