FED ER A L R E S E R V E B A N K O F D A L L A S Station K, Dallas, Texas 7 5 2 2 2 Circular No. 84-86 August 2, 1984 TO: The depository institution addressed in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District ATTENTION: Reserve Account Manager SUBJECT: Reduction in the reserves SUMMARY: This will serve as a reminder to all FR 2900 weekly reporting institutions that effective with the maintenance period beginning Thursday, August 2, 1984, the allowable carryover percentage for required reserves will be reduced from 3 percent to 2.5 percent under the extended carryover provision of contemporaneous reserve requirements. Therefore, weekly reporting depository institutions will be allowed to carry over to the next maintenance period excess reserves or deficiencies up 2.5 percent of required reserves, or $25,000, whichever is larger.
