Payor bank check service changes in the Eleventh District
DETAILS

Effective August 1, 1987, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas will
implement new fees and service offerings for payor bank check services.
The new services include the electronic transmission of check MICR
line data captured on high speed processing equipment, the MICR line capture
of fine sort items and MICR line entry of items rejected in high speed
processing. In addition, the price for delivery of high speed MICR line data
on magnetic tape, electronic delivery of account totals over the RESPONSE
network using the Generalized Advice Retrieval System (GARS) and the physical
outsort of high speed items will be changed. The fee for telephone advice of
account totals will remain the same. Fees for all payor bank services are
listed on the reverse side of this announcement.
Institutions will be allowed to pay for these services with earnings
credits from their clearing account.
