F e d e r a l r e s e r v e b a n k O F DALLAS Dallas, Texas, April 5,1954 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT To the Member Banks in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: I am pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas at its meeting on March 11, 1954, took the following actions: Mr. Morgan H. Rice, Assistant Vice President and Secretary of the Board, was elected Vice President and Secretary of the Board, with general supervision of the Research Department. Mr. T. W. Plant, Assistant Cashier, was elected Vice President, with general supervision of the Fiscal Agency and CCC Departments. Mr. Howard Carrithers, Assistant Cashier, was elected Assistant Vice Presi dent, and will continue to have direct supervision of the Cash and Transit De partments. Mr. Philip E. Coldwell. Economist, was elected to the position of Director of Research, with direct supervision of the Research Department. Mr. James A. Parker, Manager of the Personnel Department, was elected Director of Personnel, with direct supervision of the Personnel Department. Mr. George F. Rudy, Assistant Counsel, was elected Assistant Counsel and Assistant Secretary of the Board. Mr. Harry A. Shuford, Vice President and General Counsel, with general supervision of the Legal, Fiscal Agency, and CCC Departments, was assigned general supervision of the Legal, Personnel, and Bank and Public Relations De partments. Mr. Herman W. Kilman, Assistant Cashier, with direct supervision of the Personnel and Loan and Securities Departments, was assigned direct supervision of the Fiscal Agency, CCC, and Loan and Securities Departments. Mr. Wm. F. Pope, Jr., Supervisor of Training and Research, was designated Manager of the Personnel Department. These changes in assignments are effective immediately.
