Pickering has resigned as Vice President of this Bank effective March 15, 1980, to accept a position as Executive Director of the new North Texas Regional Clearing House Association. I am sure th at you join me in extending our very best wishes to Mr. Pickering in his new endeavor. I am pleased to announce th at the Board of Directors of the Bank has promoted Larry J. Reck, Assistant Vice President, to Vice President, effective March 16, 1980. Mr. Reck was employed by the Bank in January 1970 in the Data Services Department, and he was elected Assistant Vice President in 1975. Mr. Reck exercised supervision in the Data Services Department until July 1977 when he was placed over the payments Mechanism Department. In his new position, he will be responsible for all operations of that departm ent. Mr. Reck is a graduate of East Texas State University, and he has completed the Executive Development Course a t Texas A & M University. Mr. Reck is a member of the Subcommittee on the Payments Mechanism and the Operations Com m ittee of the Dallas Clearing House Association.
