F e d e r a l Re s e r v e B a n k OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, April 23, 1954 To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: Please refer to the time schedule which is part of our Bulletin No. 6, dated April 1,1954. On this schedule it is stated that if any Federal Reserve Bank or Branch should adopt Daylight Saving Time, the time shown on the schedule would automatically be advanced one hour for the period of time the Daylight Saving Plan is observed by such Federal Reserve Bank or Branch. For your information, the Federal Reserve Banks and Branches in the cities shown below will observe Daylight Saving Time from April 25, 1954, to September 26, 1954. New York Chicago Buffalo St. Louis Philadelphia Louisville Cleveland San Francisco Pittsburgh Los Angeles Baltimore We are also informed that the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston will observe Daylight Saving Time from April 25, 1954, to October 31, 1954. During those periods, our time limit for the acceptance of wire transĀ fers to such Federal Reserve Banks and Branches, for completion on date of receipt, will be one hour earlier than the time shown on our schedule.
