We are advised that the new bank has assum ed the deposit liabilities of the closed bank. F re d e ric k Erck is P re sid en t of the new b an k , which has capital of $600,000, s u r p lu s of $600,000, and undivided profits of $300,000. The new bank will be a member of the Federal R eserve System and is located in the te r rito r y se rv e d by the San Antonio Branch of the Federal R e serve Bank of Dallas.
