NEW NATIONAL BANK

TO ALL BANKS IN THE
ELEVENTH FEDERAL RESERVE DISTRICT:
This is to ad v ise that the F irst National Bank, Rio G rande City, T exas,
opened for b u sin e ss today in q u a r t e r s formerly occupied by the F irs t State Bank
and T ru s t Company, Rio Grande C ity, T e x a s, which was closed by the Banking
Commissioner of the State of T exas as of the close of b u sin e ss November 19, 1976.
We are advised that the new bank has assum ed the deposit liabilities of
the closed bank.
F re d e ric k Erck is P re sid en t of the new b an k , which has capital of
$600,000, s u r p lu s of $600,000, and undivided profits of $300,000.
The new bank will be a member of the Federal R eserve System and is
located in the te r rito r y se rv e d by the San Antonio Branch of the Federal R e serve
Bank of Dallas.
T he bank is located at 100 North Britton A venue, Rio G rande City,
T ex a s, and its mailing a d d re s s is Drawer M, Rio G rande City, T exas 78582.
