F e d e r a l R e s e r v e Ba n k OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, May 14,1952 To the Member Bank Addressed: I am pleased to announce that our Board o f Directors has taken the following actions: Mr. Harry A. Shuford, Counsel for the bank, was elected Vice President and General Counsel, effective immediately. Mr. G. R. Murff was elected General Auditor of the bank, effective June 1, 1952, to succeed Mr. Leon Daniels, resigned. Mr. Shuford has served as Counsel for the bank since September 1, 1948. Mr. Murff now holds the position of Assistant Secretary of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Previous to his appointment to that position he served as Examiner and Chief Examiner for the Board of Governors, and before going to the Board of Governors he was a member of our El Paso branch organization. Mr. Murff has been connected with the Federal Reserve System since 1920. A complete list of the officers of this bank and its branches is shown on the reverse of this circular. Very truly yours, J.
