F ederal Reserve Bank OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, July 14,1947 To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks in the Eleventh Federal Reserve District: We are informed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta that under the provisions of law recently enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida, the following banks located in the counties of Dade and Palm Beach, State of Florida, will be closed on Satur days, beginning July 12,1947: Coral Gables First National Bank, Coral Gables, Florida Florida National Bank at Coral Gables, Coral Gables, Florida First National Bank, Homestead, Florida Allapattah State Bank, Miami, Florida Coconut Grove Exchange Bank, Miami, Florida First National Bank of Miami, Miami, Florida Florida National Bank & Trust Company at Miami, Miami, Florida Little River Bank and Trust Company, Miami, Florida Pan-American Bank of Miami, Miami, Florida Riverside Bank, Miami, Florida Mercantile National Bank of Miami Beach, Miami Beach, Florida Miami Beach First National Bank, Miami Beach, Florida The North Shore Bank, Miami Beach, Florida Florida National Bank at Belle Glade, Belle Glade, Florida First National Bank of Delray Beach, Delray Beach, Florida First National Bank in Lake Worth, Lake Worth, Florida Bank of Pahokee, Pahokee, Florida First National Bank in Palm Beach, Palm Beach, Florida Atlantic National Bank of West Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Florida Florida Bank & Trust Company at West Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Florida Due consideration should be given to the Saturday closing mentioned above with respect to transfers of funds affecting the above-mentioned banks. Attention is also called to the fdfet that these Saturday closings may result in delay in the presentation of items drawn on or payable at the banks referred to, as well as a delay in the return of dishon ored cash items and in advice of nonpayment of such items.
