TO THE MEMBER BANK ADDRESSED:
For the information of interested banks and individuals, the following
paragraph is quoted from the March issue of the Federal Reserve Bulletin:
“ The Federal Reserve Board will publish shortly, primarily for its
use and that of Federal Reserve Banks, an index-digest of the Federal
Reserve Bulletin, prepared by Mr. C. S. Hamlin, one of its members.
The digest covers the first six volumes of the Bulletin, from the years
1915 to 1920, inclusive, and contains an abstract of all published deci
sions and rulings of the Federal Reserve Board and of the other
matter contained in the Bulletin.
“ The Board will print a sufficient number of copies to supply the
demand of banks and others who may desire to purchase it.
“ The price will be $2 per volume, bound in cloth in the same man
ner as the Bulletin. SUBSCRIPTIONS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED
TO THE FEDERAL RESERVE BOARD, WASHINGTON. As the
edition is to be a limited one, those desiring copies should send in their
orders promptly.”
In view of the fact that the index-digest above referred to will contain
an abstract of the published decisions and rulings of the Federal Reserve
Board, it will prove to be a very valuable volume to every member bank,
whether or not a file of the Federal Reserve Bulletin has been preserved.
We would, therefore, respectfully suggest and recommend that you place
your order for a copy with the Federal Reserve Board in Washington
IMMEDIATELY.
Very truly yours,

Governor.
