FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF DALLAS DALLAS, TEXAS October 23, 1964 To the Bank Addressed: We are advised that the First State Bank of Clear Lake City, Clear Lake City, Texas, a newly organized, insured, nonmember bank located in the territory served by the Houston Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, will open for business on October 26, 1964. The bank has notified us that remittance will be made at par for checks drawn on it when received from the Federal Reserve Bank. We are informed that the bank’s mailing address will be Houston, Texas 77058 and its checks will show Houston, Texas in the date line. Such checks will be received by our Houston Branch for handling on a country item basis and credit for such items will be deferred.
