To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks
of the Eleventh Federal Reserve D istrict:
Please refer to the time schedule effective September 9, 1964, which is a part of our
Bulletin No. 6 of the same date. On this schedule it is stated th at appropriate adjustm ent
should be made in the closing hours shown for cities in the Central and Eastern time zones
during periods when Daylight Saving Time is effective.
For your information, the Federal Reserve banks and branches in the cities listed
below will observe Daylight Saving Time as indicated:
Boston
New York
Buffalo
Philadelphia
Cleveland
Pittsburgh
Richmond
Baltimore
Chicago
St. Louis
Minneapolis
Denver
San Francisco
Los Angeles
Portland
Seattle

During those periods our time limit for the acceptance of wire transfers to such
Federal Reserve banks and branches for completion on date of receipt will be one hour
earlier than the time shown on our schedule, except for transfers to San Francisco, Los
Angeles, Portland, and Seattle.
