To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks
of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District:
Please refer to the time schedule effective March 1, 1959, which is part of our Bulle­
tin No. 6 of the same date. On this schedule it is stated that if any Federal Reserve bank
or branch should adopt Daylight Saving Time, the time shown on the schedule would
automatically be advanced one hour for the period of time the Daylight Saving Plan is
observed by such Federal Reserve bank or branch.
For your information, the Federal Reserve banks and branches in the cities shown
below will observe Daylight Saving Time, as indicated:

New York
Buffalo
Philadelphia
Cleveland
Pittsburgh
Richmond
Baltimore
Chicago
St. Louis
Louisville
Minneapolis
San Francisco
Los Angeles
Seattle

During those periods our time limit for the acceptance of wire transfers to such
Federal Reserve banks and branches, for completion on date of receipt, will be one hour
earlier than the time shown on our schedule, except for transfers to San Francisco, Los
Angeles and Seattle.
