FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF DALLAS Dallas, Texas, September 26, 1938 To the Member or Nonmember Clearing Bank Addressed: We have been advised by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco that effective October 1, 1938, its Spokane Branch will be disestablished and the banks in the city of Spokane, which comprise the present territory of the Spokane Branch, will thereafter be affiliated with its Seattle Branch. We have also been advised by that bank that, effective October 1, 1938, the counties of Asotin, Columbia, Garfield, and Walla Walla in the State of Washington and all that part of the State of Idaho which is now in the Seattle Branch zone, will be transferred to the Portland Branch zone, and the banks in that territory will thereafter be affiliated with its Portland Branch. It will be appreciated if direct-sending banks will make such changes as may be necessary in forwarding their cash and noncash collection items to the branches mentioned above. Yours very truly, b.a . McK i n n e y , President This publication was digitized and made available by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas' Historical Library (FedHistory@dal.frb.org)
