DISCOUNT RATES

To All Member Banks in the
Eleventh Federal Reserve District:

Effective February 18, 1970, this Bank has increased its rate to
7j"2% from 7% on advances to individuals, partnerships and corpo­
rations other than member banks, under the last paragraph of Sec­
tion 13 of the Federal Reserve Act, secured by direct obligations of
the United States or by any obligation which is a direct obligation of,
or fully guaranteed as to principal and interest by, any agency of the
United States. No change has been made on advances to and dis­
counts for member banks.
There is printed on the reverse side hereof a copy of revised
Bulletin No. 1, dated February 18, 1970, which sets forth all of the
rates in effect at this Bank with respect to discounts and advances.
This bulletin should be inserted in the ring binder previously fur­
nished your bank in place of Bulletin No. 1, dated April 4, 1969.
Please acknowledge receipt of the bulletin on the enclosed postal
card.
