To the Member Bank Addressed:

Our Board of Directors announces the election of
Mr. Harry A. Shuford as Counsel for the bank, succeeding
Mr. Hubert D. Johnson, who has resigned to re-enter the
general practice of law.
Mr. Shuford has served as an Assistant Attorney
General of the State of Texas, has had considerable experi­
ence in corporate and general practice, and is now associated
with a large corporation in Dallas as Assistant General
Counsel. He will assume his duties as Counsel for the bank
on September 1, 1948.
