To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks
of the Eleventh Federal Reserve District:
Please refer to the time schedule which is part of our Bulletin No. 6,
dated September 15, 1939. On this schedule it is stated that if any Federal
Reserve bank or branch should adopt daylight saving time, the time shown
on the schedule would automatically be advanced one hour for the length
of time the daylight saving plan is observed by such Federal Reserve bank
or branch.
For your information, the Federal Reserve banks and branches in the
cities shown below are observing daylight saving time for the period indi­
cated, and our time limit for the acceptance of wire transfers to such Fed­
eral Reserve banks and branches, for completion on date of receipt, will be
one hour earlier than the time shown on our schedule:
