Dallas, Texas, September 29, 1939

To the Member Bank Addressed:
We are advised by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve
System that Thursday, October 12, Columbus Day, will be observed by all
Federal Reserve Banks and Branches, except the following, which will be
open for business as usual on that day:
Charlotte
Detroit
Kansas City
Little Rock
Memphis
Minneapolis
Nashville
Oklahoma City
St. Louis
We are transmitting this information to you for your guidance in con­
nection with transit operations and transfers of funds.
