TE X A S June 16, 1948 To the Bank Addressed: The Almeda State Bank, Houston, Texas, a newly organized par, nonmember bank, located in the territory served by our Houston Branch, has notified us that it opened for business on June 15, 1948. Checks drawn on the bank that are received by our Houston Branch for collection will be presented for payment by mail and credit for such items will be deferred in accordance with the terms and conditions of our current bulletin on Transit Operations. This addition will be shown in the July, 1948, supplement to the Federal Reserve Par List.
