Addition of northern Louisiana to the Dallas Regional
Check Processing Center (RCPC)

DETAILS:

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is pleased to
announce that on January 2, 1985, the Dallas Regional
Check Processing Center (RCPC) will be expanded to
include the northern portion of Louisiana presently
served by the Dallas Fed. This conversion of northern
Louisiana institutions from Dallas "country" endpoints
to Dallas RCPC endpoints will enable financial
institutions to receive improved availability of funds
and will enhance the nation's payments system.

Depositors may include items bearing routing symbols
1111 or 3111 with other North Texas RCPC items for
same-day credit at the regular 12:01 a.m. or premium
1:15 a.m. deposit deadlines on January 2.
For
institutions depositing fine-sort cash letters, the
regular 4:00 a.m. deposit deadline will apply,
however, depositors are requested to segregate north
Louisiana endpoints on separate fine-sort recap sheets
and deposit them separately from other North Texas
RCPC fine-sort cash letters.
