* December imports of capital goods ($58.9 billion) were the highest since December 2018 ($59.2 billion).
* December imports of automotive vehicles, parts, and engines ($33.1 billion) were the highest on record.
* December non-petroleum imports ($205.9 billion) were the highest on record.
