L o u is 2, M i s s o u r i April 23, 1956 DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME To B a n kin g In stitu tio n s in the Eighth Federal Reserve D istrict: Daylight Saving Time will be effective in St. Louis, Missouri, from Sunday, April 29, 1956, through Saturday, September 29, 1956. In Louisville, Kentucky, businesses will operate on “Voluntary Daylight Time” between these dates. D uring this period local time will be one hour in advance of Central S tandard Tim e in both cities. The Federal Reserve Bank a t St. Louis and its branch a t Louisville, Kentucky, will operate on local time. Daylight Saving Time will n o t be in effect in the cities of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Memphis, Tennessee, and our branches located in those cities will continue to operate on Central Standard Time.
