Buenos Aires – Yesterday, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin met with Finance
Minister Bill Moreau of Canada. The Secretary and Minister discussed the long standing
economic and trade relationship between the United States and Canada, including the
successful renegotiation of NAFTA. Secretary Mnuchin and Minister Moreau further discussed
working together to help resolve the situation in Venezuela. The Secretary thanked the Minister
and emphasized the importance of the two nations collaborating to counter North Korea's illicit
financial activityand the financing of terrorism.
