To All Banks in the
Eleventh Federal Reserve District:

W. C. Hartung, Assistant Cashier of the Houston Branch of this Bank, will retire on
February 1 under the provisions of the Retirement System of the Federal Reserve banks.
Mr. Hartung has completed nearly 44 years of service with the Houston Branch. He was
assigned to several departments in clerical and supervisory capacities prior to his election
as an officer on September 1, 1957. His most recent assignment has been as Assistant Cashier
in charge of the Branch’s Cash, Fiscal Agency and Loan and Service Departments.
Roy E. Maley, Manager of the Transit Department in Houston, has been named
Assistant Cashier in that office. Mr. Maley has been with the Houston Branch since March
1923, serving in several clerical and supervisory capacities. He was designated a department
head in 1942.
