To the Member and Nonmember Clearing Banks
of the Eleventh Federal Reserve D istrict:

We have been inform ed that all of the Federal Reserve
banks and branches will be closed on Tuesday, January 1,1963.
The Louisville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St.
Louis will be closed on Monday, December 31, 1962, in observ­
ance o f a holiday declared by the Governor of Kentucky.
We are transm itting th is inform ation to you for your
guidance in connection w ith transit operations and transfers of
funds.
